CANDIDATES SHARE THOUGHTS ABOUT CONFIRMATION AND THEIR FAITH

“…Confirmation is…to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit…you become a part of the working Body of Christ...Being a Catholic Christian means to me that I have a closer relationship with God and Jesus...I can still be forgiven (if I have done wrong)…(My faith) gives me confidence in knowing that if things are not going well for me, I can still turn to God…”

“…I am grateful for what I have been brought into by my parents: the Roman Catholic Church. Now, I can finally make my official entrance into the Christian family (through Confirmation)…and am happy to have been given the choice. I want to be a part of the Roman Catholic Church and what it stands for - hope, forgiveness and love.”
