St. John Parish Darien has an extensive program of education including Preschool, CCD, and Adult Study Programs. The educational mission is To provide opportunities for the children and adul of St. John to grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, academically, and physically in a welcoming and nurturing atmosphere in which we promote a love of God and of each other.

WELCOME TO LISA IOLI, NEWLY APPOINTED DIRECTOR OF THE ST. JOHN PRESCHOOL
We are pleased to announce that Lisa Ioli has been selected as the Director of the St. John Preschool. She has already begun serving our children and their parents. Mrs. Ioli earned a Bachelor of Science in education from Southern Connecticut State University and a Master of Arts in education, with a concentration in literacy, from Sacred Heart University. A certified teacher, Mrs. Ioli was an elementary classroom teacher for five years, was a lead teacher at St. Luke’s Parish Preschool, and most recently, has served as a long-term substitute teacher with the Darien Public Schools. She is a member of St. John’s Parish where she had also taught in the Christian Formation Program. Mrs. Ioli is an active member of the community, and has volunteered in numerous organizations including the Republican Town Committee, the Social Services Committee, and the Hindley School Parent Teacher Organization where she served as co-chairperson. She resides in Darien with her husband Marc and their two children, Marc Jr. and Lauren.
